Innovator in Fire Safety: In 2018, inspired by the devastating Woolsey Fire, Captain Prabhu founded a business focused on helping homeowners protect their properties from wildfires. Specializing in installing swimming pool fire pumps, his company serves homes across Southern California, including Orange, LA, and Ventura counties. His work has been featured by news outlets such as Fox LA, and he continues to advocate for proactive fire prevention.
"Ride for 9/11" Founder: As part of a deeply meaningful tribute to the 10th anniversary of 9/11, Captain Prabhu helped organize the "Ride for 9/11." In 2011, he and fellow firefighters rode across the country from LA to New York City, stopping at fire stations to honor fallen heroes and first responders. This cross-country journey reflected his commitment to honoring the legacy of 9/11 and fostering unity among firefighters across the nation.
Athlete and Community Builder: Outside of his professional life, Captain Prabhu is an avid athlete. He played volleyball in college and continues to compete on his department's team. He is also passionate about cycling and enjoys spending time outdoors in his free moments. His energy and drive are contagious, inspiring those around him to push themselves physically and mentally.
