About Alexis Anderson

Alexis Anderson was nominated by Robert Liebman of Florida Financial & Insurance Agency.

Officer Alexis Anderson has demonstrated exemplary dedication and service as a police officer in the City of Boynton Beach. In 2023 alone, she has shown outstanding commitment to law enforcement through her diligence and purposeful work ethic, resulting in numerous case reports, traffic citations, and arrests for various offenses.

One of Officer Anderson's notable achievements is her involvement in community events, particularly the "Cook Out with a Cop" initiative. This event, organized by the police department, serves as a platform for officers to engage with the community in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere, fostering positive relationships and building trust.

Officer Anderson played a pivotal role in the success of the department's first annual Cook Out with a Cop event. Her contributions went above and beyond mere participation; she took on significant organizational responsibilities to ensure the event's smooth execution.

Months before the event, Officer Anderson collaborated closely with Sergeant Schalk and other team members. She actively engaged with community members, discussing their preferences and expectations for the event. Officer Anderson also took charge of creating the scorecards for the rib competition, setting up the judges' table, and coordinating with vendors for the day of the event.

On the day itself, Officer Anderson's dedication was evident as she worked tirelessly to oversee various logistical aspects, ensuring everything ran seamlessly. Despite the demands of her role as a police officer, Officer Anderson devoted her own time to attend meetings and prepare for the event, demonstrating her unwavering commitment to community engagement.

Cook Out with a Cop isn’t the only way Officer Anderson gets involved with her community; she has also participated in Shop with a Cop, CRA Movie Night, and PAL Female Flag Football. Her professionalism and service leadership are part of what makes her a National Life Do Good Hero.
