About Vittorio Spadea

Vittorio "Vito" Spadea was nominated by Joseph Ablahani of Capital Benefits.

Officer Spadea has been a member of the NJSPBA (New Jersey State Policemen's Benevolent Association, Inc) for 18 years. He is not only a law enforcement officer who protects us every day, but he is always giving back to the community and his fellow members of the NJSPBA.

Officer Spadea teaches kids at the Immaculate Conception School D.A.R.E. program. Officer Spadea has been an instructor of the D.A.R.E. program since 2015 and teaches 5th and 7th graders. The program teaches the students about making safe and responsible decisions. 

Officer Spadea also participates in the "Police Unity Tour," where police officers from California to New Jersey get together and ride their bicycles from New Jersey to Washington, D.C., to raise money for fallen police officers for the National Law Enforcement Memorial. He is involved in raising money for the Survivor and Welfare fund that helps the families of injured and fallen officers.

Officer Spadea is very involved in the Somerville community, always donating his time and giving back. He is the ultimate "Do Good Hero."
