While going to school for social work full time, Ms. Philben volunteers 32 hours a month at her first aid squad as an EMT while also still working her current job. She is a mentor and advisor to the cadet program, which includes people training to become EMTs. She has been a member of Freehold EMS for almost 10 years and got her EMT license at the age of 17. She also does any events that involve working with the community!
