Officer Denicola embodies what it means to be a community hero through his ongoing commitment to the Suffolk County Police Foundation, the Promise of Hope Foundation, and the Suffolk County PBA (Police Benevolent Association). He has been a tremendous supporter of Suffolk County's law enforcement community. Through his involvement with the Suffolk County Police Foundation and Suffolk County PBA, he has consistently demonstrated his appreciation for the men and women who serve and protect the community. He supports initiatives that provide resources to law enforcement, strengthen relationships between police officers and the communities they serve, and recognize the sacrifices officers and their families make.
His commitment to helping others extends beyond law enforcement. Through the Promise of Hope Foundation, Officer Denicola has supported efforts to assist individuals and families during some of the most difficult moments of their lives. He understands that meaningful community service is not simply about donating. It is about showing up, bringing people together, raising awareness, and using your relationships and resources to make a difference.
"One of the greatest positive impacts I have personally observed is Matt's ability to connect people around a cause. He is generous with his time, resources, and relationships, and he encourages others to get involved as well. That creates an impact far beyond any single contribution or event," said Grasso.
