Chief Moore is a true example of what it means to serve with heart, leadership, and dedication. As Chief for the FAIC Fire Department, he leads a volunteer-based organization that not only serves the Pierce community, but supports surrounding areas. Built on donations and the selfless commitment of volunteers, what started as a small operation has grown into a staffed department that responds reliably to emergency calls and plays a critical role in keeping the community safe.
Chief Moore has been instrumental in that growth. He consistently leads training efforts to ensure his team is well-prepared and equipped to handle a wide range of emergency situations. Under his leadership, the department has been able to acquire fire trucks and essential equipment through donations, funding, and ongoing fundraising efforts, stretching every dollar with purpose.
Beyond emergency response, Chief Moore fosters a strong sense of community. The department hosts Saturday breakfasts at the fire station, creating a welcoming space for residents to gather, connect, and feel supported. They also organize special events throughout the year, reinforcing the bond between the department and the people they serve.
