Frank Alegre, Officer
Celina Police Department
Celina, TX
Officer Frank Alegre was nominated by Maria Theresa Abellera of Experior Financial Group.
Officer Alegre's commitment to service is deeply rooted in both his faith and his role as a police officer. As an active member of St. Francis Catholic Church, he supports outreach efforts that care for families in need, including contributions to the Society of St. Vincent de Paul and participation in Angel Christmas programs that bring hope and joy to children during the holiday season.
Within the Celina community, Officer Alegre is involved in events that reflect his dedication to service beyond the badge, including the Homerun Heroes softball game benefiting the Celina Police Foundation and the Battle of the Badges blood drive—both of which unite the community in support of meaningful causes.
Through his work in law enforcement, he has also built a strong connection with the Children’s Advocacy Center of Collin County, where his cases have led him to work alongside professionals committed to protecting and advocating for children impacted by abuse.
Officer Alegre does not separate his career from his calling to serve. He lives it daily, both on and off duty. Through his church, he quietly gives back by supporting families who may be struggling, whether through financial assistance programs or ensuring that children experience the joy of Christmas through Angel Tree initiatives.
In Celina, his presence at community events like the Homerun Heroes softball game and the Battle of the Badges blood drive reflects his belief that being a police officer means being part of the community—not just protecting it, but actively investing in it. These events create opportunities for connection, trust, and support between first responders and the families they serve.
Some of his most meaningful impact, however, happens in the moments that are not always seen. Through his work with the Children’s Advocacy Center of Collin County, Officer Alegre helps children and families navigate incredibly difficult circumstances. His role goes beyond enforcement. He becomes part of a team that ensures these children are heard, protected, and supported during some of the most vulnerable times in their lives.
Officer Alegre leads with compassion, integrity, and humility. His impact is not defined by recognition, but by the trust he builds, the lives he helps protect, and the quiet, consistent ways he shows up for his community every single day. His commitment to serving his community extends beyond his role. It is a lifelong calling that continues to evolve. Looking ahead, he plans to deepen his involvement both within his faith community at St. Francis Catholic Church and through local initiatives in Celina that create meaningful opportunities to serve and support others.
He is especially passionate about continuing his work with the Children’s Advocacy Center of Collin County, where he can further advocate for vulnerable children and families. His experiences have shaped a long-term vision of being part of solutions that not only respond to hardship, but help prevent it—strengthening systems of protection, trust, and care within the community.
Officer Alegre also plans to expand his role in community engagement by supporting and growing initiatives that bring people together, including events benefiting the Celina Police Foundation. Through these efforts, he aims to continue building meaningful relationships between law enforcement and the community, rooted in trust, transparency, and shared purpose.
