About Tyler Sullivan

Tyler Sullivan was nominated by Maria Theresa Abellera of Experior Financial Group.

"Mr. Sullivan is a part of a system that supports safety education for kids, emergency care for vulnerable people, support networks for first responder families, and community-wide prevention and outreach. He also coaches my daughters flag football and basketball teams," said Abellera. "Lastly, he is a college professor who teaches the students at his alma mater to be firefighters before they graduate high school."

As a firefighter for the Grapevine Fire Department, Mr. Sullivan supports his community through emergency response, prevention, education, and outreach. He provides life-saving medical care and fire protection, while also working to prevent emergencies through safety education and programs like Buckets’ Safety Brigade, which teaches children how to respond in emergencies.

Mr. Sullivan also builds strong community relationships by participating in local events and supporting charitable efforts, including helping first responder families. Overall, his impact includes saving lives, reducing accidents and fires, educating families and children, and strengthening trust and safety within the community.

As a father of three, Mr. Sullivan deeply understands the importance of strong, safe communities. He is dedicated to fostering a culture of excellence, safety, and service that benefits both residents and future firefighters.
