The Waterford Volunteer Fire Department was nominated by Colin Fucci of Appalachian Benefits Group.
The Waterford Volunteer Fire Department has protected the community of Waterford since 1985. An organization of 30 members today, the department participates in various events yearly to bring the community together, from pancake breakfasts to open houses. The department is very active in fire safety and prevention with the Pre-k through 8th-grade classes at Waterford Elementary School, as well.
