Colin Fucci was nominated by Tyler Combs of The Vermont Agency.
Chief Fucci has dedicated his career to helping others. He has been involved with the Waterford Fire Department for a long time and was recently appointed Fire Chief. Chief Fucci is always looking for ways to improve the department and the services they provide to the community.
"Colin is not one for recognition, but I believe he deserves to be recognized for the volunteer work he does in his community. He is also a small business owner in St. Johnsbury, running a benefits firm named Appalachian Benefits Group. It is impressive that even when he is done with his 'job' serving others in the community, he then puts on his fire chief hat and continues to serve when he's off the clock," said Combs.
