Danny Tri Nguyen was nominated by Ngan Du of Premier Financial Alliance.
"I am recommending Danny Tri Nguyen from the Georgia Department of Public Safety Post 10 in Americus, Georgia, for his continued support in keeping the city roads and highways safe daily," said Du. "Not only does he proudly put his life on the line to keep the roads safe, he always has a kind heart to give back to the community. In late 2022, he and a fellow Trooper were recognized with the prestigious Life-Saving Award for sustaining the lives of individuals suffering through non-stop CPR from a fatal vehicle overturn while awaiting EMS arrival. He is heavily involved with the community by organizing events such as Faith and Blue to help people understand and closely relate to their line of duty. He often visits local schools during career days to educate kids about his profession. Annually he participates in driving the Toys for Tots charity to give children joy during the holiday season. He is on the board of the Honor Guard, honoring late Troopers and their families. Not only is he certified as Dignitary Protection and Field Training Officer, but he is also on the Board of Interviews for recruiting new members to the department. Danny is a prime example of a local hero in the hometown of Americus, GA."
