About Cherry Hill PBA Local #176
The Cherry Hill PBA (Police Benevolent Association) Local #176 was nominated by Jay Silvagni of Evolution Financial Group.
The Cherry Hill PBA is involved in the community throughout the year, from assisting with the food bank to hosting or participating in annual events. Steve Warren, the current president of #176, along with all of the other members, is the driving factor behind their continued efforts to work with and help their Cherry Hill community.
- Cherry Hill Food Bank: Collects food for donations throughout the year. The Cherry Hill PBA also assisted with moving the food bank to a new location in 2021 and did some demolition work at the new site.
- Shriners Children's Hospital - Philadelphia: Hosts an annual Holiday toy collection and drop-off.
- Cherry Hill High Schools (East & West): Provides scholarships for senior students.
- Cherry Hill American Legion #372: Hosts an annual Veterans Dinner.
- American Red Cross: Hosts a local annual blood drive.
- Marlton Rec Council - Sports Unity Program: Sponsors a sports program for children with special needs.
- Cherry Hill Atlantic Little League: Sponsors the league.
- Cooper Hospital Pediatric Unit: Donated iPads to the pediatric unit.
- Tunnels to Towers Foundation: Participates in local fundraising events, such as 5k runs, for this foundation established in the aftermath of 9/11
The Cherry Hill PBA local #176 has also donated to larger organizations, such as the Flyers Youth Special Hockey, which hosts ice hockey games and ice skating lessons for individuals with special needs.
