Mr. Dikovitsky is the embodiment of what it means to be a Do-Good Hero. Following distinguished careers in law enforcement and federal service, he recognized a need that often goes unnoticed—the emotional and practical support required by victims, families, and first responders after a crisis has ended. Motivated by a lifelong commitment to service, he founded the Texas Emergency Crisis Response Team (TECRT), an organization dedicated to providing hope, guidance, and compassionate care during life's most difficult moments. Today, that vision has grown into a formally incorporated nonprofit operating under the WSCNetwork umbrella, ensuring his mission of helping those in crisis will continue to expand and serve communities for generations to come. Under his leadership, TECRT has developed into a statewide network of approximately 100 volunteers who answer the call when individuals, families, and communities are facing tragedy, trauma, disaster, or loss. The organization provides critical support during emergencies, assists grieving families, and offers care to first responders who often bear the emotional weight of the crises they encounter. In 2025 alone, TECRT volunteers were credited with helping prevent 46 suicides, a remarkable achievement that demonstrates the organization's profound and often lifesaving impact. What makes his contribution especially extraordinary is that the organization's success has been built largely through personal sacrifice and volunteer commitment. Much of TECRT's operational support, training efforts, equipment, and outreach activities have been funded directly by Mr. Dikovitsky and the volunteers who share his passion for serving others. Their efforts have never been motivated by recognition or financial gain, but by a sincere desire to be present for people during moments of fear, grief, and uncertainty. Through his example, a culture of selfless service has taken root, inspiring volunteers across Texas to devote their time, resources, and talents to helping strangers in need. "The true measure of his impact lies in the countless lives he has touched through his vision and leadership. Families have found comfort in times of loss, first responders have received support when facing emotional challenges, and individuals in crisis have been given renewed hope when they needed it most.
