Chief Sean Richardson was nominated by Jacob Feldman of Centric.
Chief Richardson serves the community that he was raised in. He works well with the public, especially while interacting with children. Once Chief Richardson was appointed as the Fire Chief of Harris County ESD 17, the department threw itself headfirst into public education and interaction at the command of Chief Richardson. During his tenure as Fire Chief, the department's public relations has exploded, and the number of public events has compounded year after year, including the smoke detector program held every October.
