Mr. Sporleder serves as the volunteer Fire Chief for the Prue Fire Department and gives countless hours to his small rural community. He has worked hard to improve the department through training, better equipment, stronger mutual aid relationships, and expanding the medical services they can provide. He recently became an EMT himself and encourages other volunteers to continue their education and training.
His service goes beyond emergency calls. He participates in community events, fire prevention activities, fundraisers, public education, and anything else the town needs help with. In a small community like Prue, people often turn to the fire department when they need help, and Mr. Sporleder takes that responsibility seriously. He genuinely wants the department to be something his community can depend on and be proud of.
